Diana Hamilton, a celebrated gospel singer, recently opened the 10th iteration of her yearly Awake Experience performance at the Holiday Inn with a star-studded affair.
The event is expected to happen in Accra and Kumasi this year. The Accra version takes place on February 18 at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Christ Temple East, Teshie. Diana Hamilton will be joined on stage by Nigerian artists Mercy Chinwo and Daughters of Glorious Jesus.
The Kumasi version will be placed on February 25 at the Church of Pentecost, Bantama. ACP Kofi Sarpong, Akese Prempong, and Kofi Peprah are among the gospel artists who will accompany her on stage.
Diana Hamilton declared that the tenth edition would be explosive during her remarks at its debut, which was hosted by radio host Abeiku Aggrey Santana.
“I have had a ten-year relationship with Diana Hamilton, and I am very grateful for all of your support during that time. I can assure the fans that this year will be nothing short of the best because this year marks my tenth year, she stated.
Diana Hamilton took advantage of the event to launch her apparel line, DH, which she promises will be available in stores shortly.
Prominent figures from the industry attended the launch, including Celestine Donkor, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Piesie Esther, Cookie T, Kofi Donkor, Abena Serwaa Ophelia, and Ceccy Twum.
Diana Hamilton has co-hosted Awake Experience alongside artists like Efe Grace, KODA, Moses OK, Perez Musik, Obaapa Christy, and Ohemaa Mercy for the past nine years.
