Award winning Nigerian superstar musician, Burna Boy has bagged his second GRAMMY Awards Nomination.

The highly rated ‘African Giant’ was nominated with fifth studio album, Twice As Tall in the Best Global Music Album category at the 63rd yearly Grammy Awards which will be broadcasted by CBS from Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021.

Burna Boy will compete with musicians like Antibalas, Bebel Gilberto, Anoushka Shankar and Tianariwen for the lofty plaque.

‘Twice As Tall’ is a 15-track album which was released on August fourteenth, 2020.

As per Burna Boy the album is “a journey through a bunch of emotions and energies at different points in time. It has now morphed into something bigger than me. It serves as a bridge for mankind to show that we’re all different but still very much the same.”

Burna Boy got his first GRAMMYs nomination with his ‘African Giant’ at the 62nd Grammy Awards ceremony yet, Angélique Kidjo beat him to the honor.
